The Department of Business Administration at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev invites you to join its ranks and acquire tools and skills for quality and professional management.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program will prepare you to deal with the emerging business and management environment, emphasizing global, international, interdisciplinary, and intercultural aspects. The degree will give you background and knowledge in management, finance, marketing, strategy, decision-making, organizational leadership, entrepreneurship, and more.​




The Department of Business Administration offers five majors.

The candidate must register for one major that he chooses from the following list:

MBA in Marketing and Strategic Consulting
Head of the major: Dr. Enav Friedman​

MBA graduates in marketing and strategic consulting know how to deal with the dynamic technological changes that reshape the marketing world almost every day. The strategic component will make it possible to manage the essence of the product or service in various aspects at the micro and macro level, with a flexible and adaptive systemic view.


MBA in Finance and Insurance
Head of the major: Prof. Rami Yosef​


MBA graduates in finance and finance and insurance receive in-depth training for management positions in finance. The major gives students the necessary skills to deal with how individuals, business entities, and other organizations allocate their funding sources over time and offer possible solutions for making decisions under conditions of uncertainty. The program emphasizes the academic training needed in industry, financial institutions, and government organizations. Accordingly, some mandatory courses allow for an exemption from finance exams to obtain a license to be an investment advisor or portfolio manager. Also, a select number of students from the finance major can participate in the Business Administration department's trading room course, where the students manage investment portfolios for several clients.


MBA in high-tech innovation and entrepreneurship

MBA graduates in high-tech innovation and entrepreneurship acquire the knowledge and tools required for entrepreneurs and managers, mainly in hi-tech and bio-tech, but also for small and medium-sized business owners and those in the business and public sectors associated with them. As part of the studies, theoretical knowledge combined with applied knowledge based on cooperation with hi-tech companies (industry and services) and
 business entities that are part of this industry (venture capital funds, etc.). The major has an applied focus and includes preparing a strategic business plan for an actual enterprise.​​



MBA in Organizational Behavior and Social Entrepreneurship

MBA graduates in organizational behavior and social entrepreneurship knew how to direct the organization in various aspects, starting with decision-making and ending with social initiatives to empower individuals and specific groups in the organization and the external environment. The graduates knew how to combine behavioral design principles with sensitivity and social responsibility in crises challenging decision-makers and policymakers.

Multidisciplinary MBA program
Head of the major: Prof. Oded Levengert​

Multidisciplinary MBA graduates aim to enrich business administration knowledge horizontally, intended for those who will integrate into the world of general managers, board members, and top policymakers. Alternatively, this program is suitable for those who wish to maintain versatility and leave an opening for lateral transition between management positions in several fields.
