Graduate students from the Albert Katz International School for Desert Studies (AKIS), as well as those studying at the Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research (BIDR) under the aegis of the Kreitman School of Advanced Graduate Studies, participated in two recent graduation ceremonies.
On June 27, 2022, a total of 38 AKIS M.Sc. students received their degrees at a ceremony held at Ben-Gurion University's Sde Boker Campus. From this group, 18 received distinguished prizes and awards. This ceremony also honored eight distinguished Ph.D. students who received awards, including the Rector's Prize and the Dean of the Kreitman School's Prize.
The Ph.D. degree conferment ceremony for the 19 students studying at the BIDR under the framework of the Kreitman School was held the following day, on June 28, at Ben-Gurion University's Marcus Family Campus in Beer-Sheva.
