My research lies at the intersection of personality, social, organizational and educational psychology. Overall, I am interested in the impact of personal and cultural factors on individuals' behavior in social and educational contexts. I examine the interactive effects of personality (i.e., values, traits) and situational/societal factors on perceptions and experiences of the environment, among adolescents, students, parents and working adults in educational systems, including schoolteachers, and principals.

I divide my research into three main streams, aimed at understanding and explaining: (a) internal conflicts and ambivalence; (b) prosocial values, moral perceptions and behavior; and (c) initiation of change and reactions to it.
