Objectives

To encourage, tutor and assist members of the center in the preparation of grant proposals. Specific emphasis will be placed on adapting the appropriate study design to the research objective and the study question.

To be responsible for the implementation of research projects.

To provide counseling at all stages of the research project.

To establish an information center with data on previous and current research programs. This center could provide a setting in which collaboration is initiated and fostered.

To encourage research in primary care among students of social work, nursing, and medicine.
