Bedouin Mobile Health Unit

The Bedouin Mobile Unit commenced operations in 1979. It is a unique unit which provides special services to the Bedouin population of the Negev. The team of the unit emphasizes health promotion through education of acute and chronic patients with special needs. Additionally, home visit services are available. The work is carried out with an emphasis on a sensitive approach to the special social-cultural characteristic of this population. The teams providing the services are multidisciplinary professionals from the community and the hospital.
