​The Soil Mechanics and Dynamics Laboratory (SMDL) is equipped with cutting-edge devices for testing soil mechanics under varying loading conditions. An advanced dynamic triaxial system, a dynamic direct simple shear device, and a variety of loading frames, allows us to study the mechanical response of soil samples to both seismic and static loads.​
