*Visiting Lecturer Program

The BCSC annually supports renowned scientists to teach intensive one-two week courses at the BIDR as part of the Albert Katz International School for Desert Studies. These courses, hosted in collaboration with local BIDR faculty, attract graduate students from both international and Israeli institutions, exposing them to cutting-edge research and methodologies in drylands study. We also provide support for select courses taught abroad, including a notable online course and field workshop held in Namibia. These initiatives foster international collaboration and equip students with the latest insights from leading experts in the field of desert studies. See the guidelines for the Visiting Lecturer Program here and for the Courses Taught Abroad here
