At the Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research (BIDR),researchers are developing innovative strategies to approach the globe's most pressing concerns: providing food, water, and energy in increasingly resource-scarce areas, as well as investigating and protecting the life forms that inhabit these regions. Our center is the BIDR's main instrument for international academic cooperation activities and events. Our postdoctoral fellowship alumni have gone on to prestigious ​positions in aca​​demia, the private sector, and non-governmental organizations.
