That year he began his affiliation with the Ben-Gurion Research Institute in Sede Boker.
Katz, currently a Lecturer at the Institute,
teaches courses on Jewish Secular Identity; Zionism;
Religion and State;
Spinoza and Modern Jewish Culture
at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
