ASL wind tunnel.JPG

Research of geomorphology and soil with the aim to understand dynamic processes of earth
surface sediments and landforms. Attention is given to the impacts of environmental changes and their significance for the physical environment and the human habitat.
The ASL consists of two units: Aeolian Simulation Laboratory and Soil and Dust Laboratory.

The current ASL research group includes professional researchers, post-doc scientists, PhD candidates, master students, and research assistants.
The group collaborates in interdisciplinary studies with colleagues (physicists, ecologists, physicians, epidemiologists, engineers) within BGU, from Israeli academic and agricultural research institutions (such as TAU, ARO, BIDR, and GSI, University of Haifa), and from academic institutions abroad (such as UCLA, ZALF, Leipzig, Harvard, DRI).

Key words
