The Israel Antitrust Authority (IAA) is an independent government agency in charge maintaining and promoting competition in the Israeli economy. Dr. Yair Eilat, Chief Economist of the Antitrust Authority, will review the Authority's important activities, emphasizing the wide extent of the economic work that performed within it. This work includes the application of empirical and theoretical tools for practical applications such as, examining the impact of mergers on consumers, enforcement cases, market research and policy recommendations.
