Tenure-Track Position in Plant Sciences and Dryland Agriculture
 

The French Associates Institute for Agriculture and Biotechnology of Drylands (FAAB) sees the increasingly multidisciplinary nature of plant and agriculture sciences as pivot for its future success. The recruitment of exceptional scientists will act as an anchor around which FAAB scientists can continue to develop multidisciplinary research. The integration of the diverse range of disciplines within the FAAB will strengthen the already widespread collaborations between its scientists and between the FAAB and the academic and industrial communities worldwide.

 
Successful candidates will be expected to supervise graduate students; develop an independent research program; teach undergraduate and graduate courses; demonstrate scientific leadership; obtain competitive research grants and contribute to departmental and faculty activities.
 
Specializations include one or more of the following:
  •  System Biology
  • Plant Soil Interactions
  • Biogeochemistry
  • Plant Biochemistry
  • Microalgae
  • Precision Agriculture
 
Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate post-doctoral experience and a substantial record of scientific achievement, with expertise in the specialization area.
