The following list contains the recommended steps for new academic faculty joining the University. We strongly recommend you follow the list to ensure a successful integration:
✔ Complete the human resources forms (it is important to attach the required documents) and mail them to a senior academic faculty section coordinator. It is recommended you set up a meeting with her (click here for the senior academic faculty section HR staff - in Hebrew).
✔ Set up a meeting with Ifat Banani (head of the senior academic faculty section) to learn about the rights and obligations of senor academic faculty members.
✔ Obtain a parking sticker and employee ID card.
✔ Obtain an email address, user name, and password.
✔ Set up a meeting with your department chair and with the head administrator of your unit.
✔ Set up a meeting with the dean of your faculty and the head administrator of your faculty
✔ Open a user account on 'Tafnit,' the University's finance and budget management platform.

✔ Set up a meeting with your faculty's research coordinator
✔ Set up a meeting with your department's head engineer, research and/or teaching lab coordinator (as relevant)
✔ Coordinate attending a teaching seminar (click for the Unit for Academic Development and Teaching Promotion - in Hebrew)
