The LC-MS lab is equipped with an Ultra High-Performance Liquid Chromatography- High Resolution Mass Spectrometer (UHPLC-HRMS) instrument.

The lab offers a wide variety of weight analyses: organic molecule, peptide, small proteins etc. using liquid chromatography separations or direct injections, With the option of MS/MS analysis using top 10 methodology or SIM.

Q Exactive focus, equipped with an Orbitrap mass analyzer offers different resolutions (17,500-70,000) with high mass accuracy.

The lab serves the chemistry department as well as other departments and faculties in the University. The lab offers consultation and Mass-Spectrometry services to industrial companies.
