Materials for Solar Energy Conversion and Storage
Our research is centered on reducing the manufacturing costs of materials and devices used in sustainable solar energy conversion and storage. This entails minimizing both the monetary expenses and the energy input required for production. We focus on the properties of wet-chemistry fabricated thin films, and their optimization via surface manipulation. Another route for cost minimization is extending the operational lifespan of these materials and devices, towards increased energy yield at similar production costs.
