​We are interested in an excellent candidate performing transformative life science research. The candidate research should include interdisciplinary aspects that extend the Department of Life Sciences' scientific or technical approaches. The candidate should be a leader in her/his field. Priority will be given to researchers in 1) all aspects of plant and/or fungi biology and 2) unique and promising research directions.

In addition, the Department is committed to quality teaching at all levels. The hired candidate will be expected to contribute to both the undergraduate and graduate curricula through teaching and mentoring students. The language of undergraduate instruction in the Department is Hebrew.

The successful candidate should have outstanding Ph.D. and postdoctoral training records indicated by relevant, high-quality publications. This person will be expected to develop an externally funded and internationally recognized research program in the candidate research field (defined above).
