We seek to provide our students with a comprehensive historical education and equip them with the methodological and conceptual skills necessary for self-directed learning and independent research. We train our students to develop intellectual and practical skills, stressing analytical reading, critical thinking and academic writing.
The Department cultivates an interdisciplinary approach and encourages cooperation with other departments and research centers within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
