objectives:
The impact of the
European continent, and in particular the European Union, on world issues is
steadily increasing. The European Union is the third largest population bloc,
the second most powerful economic bloc and the largest framework for trade in
the world.
Israel and Europe
have many years of shared history, currently characterized by increasing mutual
dependency in various fields. Europe is Israel’s largest economic partner and
in addition, is a central political influence on Israel. Ergo the great
importance of an in depth acquaintance with all aspects of the European
continent: politics, society, culture, and economy.
The Adenauer
Division for the Study of European Politics and Society will provide the
participants of its program with the skills to understand the processes taking
place on the European continent while conducting an in depth examination of the
European regime and society and its relationship with the State of Israel.
