A year after the formal inauguration of the Institute for Future Technologies, a joint BGU-NJIT initiative,
Prof. Aharonson-Daniel, VP for global engagement at BGU and Prof. John Pelesko, new Provost of NJIT signed an agreement for joint PhDs.
“We started with modest seed grants for joint research" said Prof. Aharonson-Daniel, "and we have now matured to jointly supervising doctoral students:
This is one step forward in building our long term relationship, mainly, but not limited to the fields of Computer Science and Civil and Environmental Engineering".
Also joining the meeting were Prof. Moshe Kam, Dean of Engineering, the Director of the IFT Prof. Baruch Shieber and Prof. Ali Mili Interim Dean of the Ying Wu College of Computing.
