Stanley R. Rotman was born in 1958.  He received the B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in 1979, 1980 and 1985, respectively.  His present position is full professor at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Beer-Sheva, Israel
In 2001-2002, he did a sabbatical at the Air Force Research Lab in Boston, Massachusetts; during that year, he collaborated in the field of Multi-Dimensional Data Analysis.  Since that time, he has published many papers in the area of hyperspectral and multi-spectral data analysis.  In addition, he has worked for the last five years in the area of SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) multidimensional data analysis with Israeli Aircraft Industries.  The opportunity to publish has been somewhat limited due to the nature of the work; However, papers 9-11 give a feel for the type of work performed.   The work in this proposal will be a natural offspring of the type of analysis we have done
