The Moshe Mirilashvili Center for Food Security in the Desert

At the Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research (BIDR), Ben-Gurion University of the Negev established the "The Moshe Mirilashvili Center for Food Security in the Desert" to enhance water and food security in arid and semi-arid areas.

The center aims to promote water and food security research in light of the global climate changes and fellowships for students whose research focuses on finding solutions for water and agricultural problems.
