Beyond activity in the fields described below, the Center initiates and participates in the organization of seminars, workshops and conferences, in writing policy papers, in publishing articles in professional journals and in presenting research at conferences.
The Center enjoys the cooperation of national and international bodies such as the Ministry of Health, Emergency Medical Services , Israel Defense Forces, Hospitals, Health Maintenance Organizations, rescue forces, municipal authorities, government offices, national emergency authority, universities and research institutions, and humanitarian aid agencies, in Israel and abroad.
This academic year, seven postgraduate students will write their masters thesis on a range of topics related to preparedness for emergencies and disasters.
Thirty two masters students will do an annual research project in this field.
