Instrument
The X-ray laboratory utilizes a state-of-the-art XtaLab Synergy-S single crystal diffractometer, which contains two radiation sources (Cu and Mo). The instrument includes a kappa goniometer that allows for collection of data at extreme angles combined with a rotating detector. The state-of-the-art HyPix-6000HE detector provide remarkably high signal to noise ratio drastically when required.
The instrument incorporates a cryo-system which allows for measurements of various polymorphs and phases within the same crystalline compound by temperature-variable x-ray diffraction.
The instrument is also suitable for high resolution X-ray powder diffraction.
