Arye Naor is Emeritus Professor of the GGFBM Department of Public Policy and Administration, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and today heads the Political and Communications Course at Hadassah Academic College of Jerusalem. He chairs the Academic Committee of the Jabotinsky Institute of Israel and is scientific editor for the writings of Ze'ev Jabotinsky, as well as Vice-Chairman of the Israel Association of Political Sciences. Prof. Naor focuses his research on ideologies and their impact on policies, particularly those of the Zionist right and its connection with political life in Israel, the Israeli governments and with war and peace. Formerly Cabinet Secretary in the Begin administration (1977–1982), he was also board member of the American Association for Israeli Studies and on the steering committee of the Appointment Committee for Israel's President. Soon to be published by the Israel State Archives: The Collections of PM Menachem Begin. Prof. Naor is married to Miriam Naor, supreme court judge and the couple has two sons and three grandchildren.
