Radar systems are widely used in
military and civil systems, such as air-defense, air-traffic control, or
meteorological systems. Modern technology allows cost reduction of radar
production, which enhances its attractiveness in many consumer applications,
such as automotive, health monitoring, or smart home systems. Therefore, the
importance of radar systems in the high-tech industry and the research
community constantly increases. Radar technology incorporates several
disciplines of electrical engineering, such as, signal processing,
communications, RF devices, and antenna propagation.
Following the success of the last
year’s radar symposium at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, we are organizing
another symposium to be held on Monday, 13.2.2017. The symposium covers
different aspects of radar technology in several talks by prominent experts and
researchers. The goal of the symposium is to serve as a platform for bringing
together engineers and researchers from academia, industry, and defense
organizations to share knowledge and explore collaboration opportunities.
