A
workshop in honor of Prof. Avishai Henik's retirement will take place
on Thursday October 27, 2016, at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev,
Beer-Sheva, Israel.
The
workshop is entitled Continuous
Paths – Beginnings Expanded.
The themes in the workshop cover current research being carried out
by Avishai’s former students who have continued in Academia. Topics
include attention, synesthesia, perception, control, emotion,
cognition and self-regulation, among others.
Video
appearances will include Avishai’s mentors – Prof. Daniel
Kahneman and Prof. M. I. Posner – and former students, if they are
unable to attend in person.
Attendance
is free but we ask everyone to register in advance so we can prepare
