Welcome to the Mokari research group website

Our group focuses on the development of new classes of nanomaterials for optical, electrical, and energy-related applications.

Current projects include synthesis, characterization, and investigation of the physical properties of semiconductor-metal hybrid nanostructures, synthesis and characterization of binary and ternary nanocrystals with unique properties, synthesis and characterization of 1-dimensional nanostructures by gas- and solution-phase methods for different energy applications, and various assembly and coating methods including casting, self-assembly, and electrophoretic deposition. Additionally, we use bio-inspired templates for the formation of complex three-dimensional hierarchical structures, which include metals and semiconductors.
