On April 26th, the Computer Science Department held a Research and Industry Day. The event featured the CS annual graduate student poster competition and a visit of industry representatives. Thirty graduate students (both Ph.D. and MSc) presented posters illustrating their research. The posters were refereed by both CS faculty and event visitors. All the posters were excellent; hence, the competition's results were very tight! The three winners of the competition are:
Or Dinari: Sampling In Dirichlet Process Mixture Models for Clustering Streaming Data, Adviser: Dr. Oren Freifeld.
OrDinari_I.pdf
Uriel Shinar: Noise-Tolerant Quantum Tokens for MAC, Adviser: Dr. Or Sattath
UrielShinar.pdf
Yaniv Ohayon: Unrestricted Polygon Puzzle solving with Applications to Archaeology, Adviser: Prof Ohad Ben-Shahar.

The winners will receive a monetary prize from the CS department.
Congratulations to the winners!
