Eran obtained his BA from Tel-Aviv University in Economics and Political Science (Magna Cum Laude) and M.Sc in Urban and Regional Planning (Cum Laude) from the Technion. Eran received his PhD from the Technion in Transportation Sciences in the area of route choice models with real-time information. Following his graduation, Eran worked as a postdoc at Utrecht University in the Netherlands and was appointed as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of the West of England Bristol. Eran spent a year in the department of Geography and Human Environment at Tel Aviv University as part of Israel’s national returning scientists’ initiative before joining the Department as a Senior Lecturer. Eran has extensive practical experience with economic assessment and travel demand models. Eran will head a new lab focusing on studying spatial interaction dynamics and social dilemmas using games in virtual and augmented environments.
