Prof. Erez Gilad won the Glatt prize for excellence in teaching for the 2020/2021 academic year. Herman Glatt, Attn, established this prize in memory of his parents, Luba and David Glatt, lovers of Israel who were actively involved in the Zionist movement in the United States. The prize is granted to outstanding lecturers who received the highest teaching score in each faculty. The lecturers were chosen based on their scores in the teaching quality survey completed by students at the end of the academic year.

Prof. Gilad teaches several highly unique courses for undergraduates and graduates students. These courses cover introductory and advanced reactor physics, fundamentals of neutron transport theory, nuclear reactor theory, and radiation safety and protection.
