Prof. Emeritus Yael Lubin has been awarded the prestigious Simon Award from the International Society of Arachnology. Named after Eugène Simon, this award is given for lifetime achievement in the field of arachnology. Prof. Lubin is an emeritus faculty member in the Swiss Institute for Dryland Environmental and Energy Research at the BIDR. Her research focuses on the ecology, behavior, and evolution of social behaviors in spiders. Congratulations to Prof. Lubin on this distinguished award!
