The biannual international WATER-SUMMIT will assemble leading scholars worldwide in the broad field of water science and technology. This upcoming summit will cover four main topics related to water security in a changing world: desalination, water treatment, hydrology, and aquatic microbiology.
The ZUCKERBERG WATER PRIZE for $60,000 will be awarded during the water summit to acknowledge outstanding achievements and global impact in the broader field of water.
The Zuckerberg Institute for Water endorses the prize Research (ZIWR) - a globally leading institute conducting cutting-edge multidisciplinary research and advanced education in water sciences, aiming to improve human well-being in drylands through technologies and policies for sustainable use of water resources.
This legacy award is granted through the generous donation of Mr. Roy Zuckerberg, Honorary Chairman of the ZIWR.
