Adva Berkovich-Romano is a PhD candidate in the Department of Social Work at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Her PhD research explores the discourse of young women's sexuality among social workers working with young women in situations of distress. Adva is the director of a program for teenaged and young women, in situations of distress, at JDC-Ashalim.

Eynat Veger-Atias is a PhD student at the Spitzer Department of Social Work, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Eynat holds a BA in social work from Ben-Gurion University, and an MSW from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She teaches on the Youth Work Program at Ben-Gurion University. Her research examines social work discourse and practice with immigrant youth from Ethiopia. Eynat is a recipient of the Kreitman Fellowship.

Reli Mizrahi holds a BA in Social Work from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, and is a community social worker. Her MA thesis examines the experiences of people with chronic pain, within the framework of a cultural comparison between Arab and Jewish Israelis.

Calanit Tsalach is a doctoral student at the Spitzer Department of Social Work, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. She received her MA in Communication Studies from Haifa University. Her doctoral research is an auto-ethnographic study of the experiences of ethnic otherness in academic spaces. Calanit teaches qualitative research methodologies at Ben-Gurion University, and is a recipient of the Kreitman Fellowship.

Aila Brand Levi is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Management at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. She holds a BA in International Relations and Social Work from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an MA in Social Work from Ben-Gurion University. Until recently, she was the head of the Otzma Center in Yeruham, a facility working with families in economic distress.
Her PhD research, supervised by Prof. Miki Malul and Prof. Michal Krumer-Nevo, focuses on the movements between work and welfare dependency among people in poverty.
Michal Rozenfeld holds a BA in Hebrew Literature from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and an MA in Gender Studies from Bar-Ilan University. Currently, she is writing an MA thesis in social work, on the discourse of body image among young religious women. Michal is the director of the Beer Sheva branch of "Open Door", a counseling center for youth that focuses on intimate relations, love and sexual behavior.

Natheem gahnayem is a master degree student at the Spitzer Department of Social Work, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. He received his bachelor in social work degree from the academic ashkilon college . He doing his research the construction of heterosexual masculinity among Syrian male refugee in Germany, today natheem is working on a shelter of refugee as a social worker in Frankfurt in Germany

Sivan Lotan is a graduate student at the Spitzer Department of Social Work, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in which she also completed her BA studies.
