LOCATION NOTE: The name of the town is Midreshet Ben-Gurion, or “the Midrashah", this is the name on the map, on Waze and where to get off the bus if coming by public transportation. The symposium is inside the Midrashah, part of Ben-Gurion University's so-call “Sede Boqer Campus". However, it is not part of Kibbutz Sede Boqer.
We will be operating a shuttle between the city of Beer-Sheva and the Jacob Blaustein Institutes for Desert Research, of Ben-Gurion University, at Midreshet Ben-Gurion, the location of our Symposium. Our shuttle schedule is built around the train schedule. However, even those coming to Beer-Sheva by bus will be able to plan their travel according to the same schedule offered here:

- The bus belongs to "MARGALIT" company, and is white.
- Mr. Yuval Edri, phone # 050-8585316, one of “our people" will be waiting with the bus, ensuring that he doesn't drive off before the train arrives. Therefore, if you can't find the bus or are slightly delayed, please call Yuval
- The first stop is outside of Ben-Gurion University's main campus, in parking lot #10. Those coming by car to Beer-Sheva can park here (no payment required) - In this link to the Campus Marcus map, click on parking, and find P10 on the right side.
- For those coming by train, you should get off at the “north/university" train station, which is the first one in Beer-Sheva.
- The second pick-up location will be outside the main bus station, in front of the Delek gas station, Yitzhak Ben-Zvi St.
- Approximate travel time is 45 minutes.
Public transportation from Beer-Sheva: Bus service is provided by the METROPOLINE Bus company. Busses 60 and 64 come up to the gate of Midreshet Ben-Gurion. DO NOT GET OFF AT KIBBUTZ SEDE BOQER, ASK FOR "THE MIDRASHA". [You may also take the # 65, but will then need to get off the bus at the intersection, adding a 12 minute walk to get to the Midrashah.] From the bus stop, walk through the white gates, continuing straight to a "T" junction. Turn left and continue walking straight to a large traffic circle, and the Evans Auditorium.

Coming by car? Take highway #40, following the signs to Mitzpe Ramon. Three km. after Kibbutz Sede Boqer, take a left turn into Midreshet Ben-Gurion/Ben-Gurion College.
תחבורה ציבורית למדרשת בן-גוריון (לא לרדת בקיבוץ שדה בוקר!). חברת מטרופוליין מפעילה את הקווים שמגיעים למדרשה – ויש שני קווים נוחים – 60 ו-64. יש קו נוסף, מס' 65, שמוריד ומעלה נוסעים בצומת של כביש 40. תוספת של 12 דקות הליכה.

מפת התמצאות בקמפוס שדה בוקר בלינק הבא. אנחנו נהיה בבין מספר 19 במפה, אודיטוריום אוונס. הוראות הליכה: כשיורדים מהאוטובוס, נכנסים דרך השער הלבן. ממשיכים ללכת ישר על לצומת "T", שזה למעשה מיקום המרכז המסחרי. אז ופונים שמאלה וממשיכים ללכת ישר עד לכיכר ובניין אוונס יהיה בצד ימין של הכיכר.
מגיע ברכב? יש לנסוע בכביש 40, בהתאם לשילוט למצפה רמון. כ-3 ק"מ אחרי קיבוץ שדה בוקר, יש לפנות שמאלה לתוך מדרשת בן-גוריון. אין צורך באישור כניסה או תשלום.
