SB Campus Radio has won the most promising social initiative in the Negev competition organized by Israel Chemicals LTD (ICL). The competition was the highlight of a conference held last month called “Negev Communities Leading Change." The winner of the competition was decided by the audience.

SB Campus Radio took home a cash prize as well as professional consulting through January 2019 to help them grow.

“We caught the attention of many people in the audience," says SB Campus Radio founder and director Buzi Raviv, a PhD student in the French Associates Institute for Agriculture and Biotechnology of Drylands, “and we have gotten many offers of collaboration from social entrepreneurs from all over the Negev."

SB Campus Radio was founded in January 2017 by an enthusiastic group of PhD students from the Sede Boqer campus and interviews local and Negev community members.
