Our computational immunology group studies transcriptional changes, splicing changes and their regulation, mostly in the context of the immune system interactions with pathogens and cancer.
We also study how immune responses change between species, trying to understand what different selective pressures shaped the different responses, and when and where those changes are likely to render model organisms less predictive to the human response.
The group is a member of the ImmGen consortium (http://www.immgen.org/). We are looking for new independent students.
