During his career, Professor Weinblatt conducted research in International Trade, Economics of Crime, Applied Macroeconomics, Economics of Social Issues (e.g. - minimum wage, economics of non-profit organizations' government's allocation of resources to social budgets). In recent years he has been involved also in a large scale project on the Palestinian economy, its macroeconomic characteristics with a special emphasis on problems of economic development and trade.
