Fact and Fantasy About Leadership
Prof. Micha Popper is Head of Occupational Organizational Psychology program at Haifa University. Prof. Popper served as the commander of The Leadership Development School of the IDF and is one of the founders of Quality Leadership Center in Zichron Ya'acov. He was a guest lecturer at Simon Fraser University in Canada and a research fellow at the US Army Research Institute (ARI). Among his books: "Charismatic Leadership and The Loss of Self Identity (1998), "Leaders Who Transform Society" (2005), "Fact and Fantasy about Leadership "(2012).
The Business in the Bible Forum: While we frequently accept without question Western (primarily American) managerial theories in our teaching and research, we seldom look into Jewish tradition for sources of managerial wisdom and inspiration. This seminar series Business in the Bible addresses this issue by discussing the interface between the Bible and current managerial issues, to better understanding our fields of study.
This series is dedicated to the memory of Prof. Ayala Malach-Pines.
Participants may wish to bring their Bibles to the lectures, which are conducted in Hebrew.
