Shlomi received his BSc and MSc degrees from the Department of Biomedical Engineering in BGU. His PhD was at the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences in BGU, under the supervision of Prof. Ilan Dinstein form the Psychology Department and Prof. Opher Donchin, the head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Shlomi is now a Royal Society – Kohn International Fellow at the Imperial Collage London.

Based on his scientific achievements during his PhD research in BGU, where he studied the encoding of arm movement in the human brain, Shlomi was selected for participation at the prestigious Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting. This meeting brings together the current and the future elite of science worldwide. Shlomi will participate in the 68th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, which will take place on June 2018, together with 43 Nobel Laureates in the fields of medicine, physiology, and chemistry, and 600 promising young scientists from around the globe.
