Dr. Esti Yeger-Lotem, a lecturer in Clinical Biochemistry and Pharmacology, of the Faculty of Health Sciences and member of the National Institute for Biotechnology in the Negev (NIBN) has been chosen for a highly selective and prestigious fellowship at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Studies at Harvard.
The Radcliffe Institute Fellowship Program annually selects and supports 50 leading artists and scholars who have both exceptional promise and demonstrated accomplishments.
The Radcliffe Institute has rapidly become one of the most competitive programs of its kind in the world, with an acceptance rate of only 3 percent each year. Fellows—women and men—are at the forefront of the arts, journalism, humanities, sciences, and social sciences.
“It is an honor to provide these innovative thinkers with time, space, and intellectual stimulation to do their best work in ways that often defy expectations and disciplinary boundaries,” said Radcliffe Institute Dean Lizabeth Cohen RI ’02. “As Radcliffe fellows, they are sure to develop unusual collaborations, take unexpected risks, and generate new ideas.”
Yeger-Lotem's research uses molecular interaction networks to model and analyze cellular processes.
During her stay at Radcliffe and at the Broad Institute, she will develop and apply network-based approaches to understand the molecular basis of hereditary diseases.
