logo_1.pngBen-Gurion University of the Negev has moved up nine places to number 30 on QS’s Top 50 Under 50 for 2014. The ranking is derived from QS World University Rankings where BGU moved up 39 places to 292, breaking into the top 300 universities in the world. The World University Rankings list the top 800 universities.

BGU was the only Israeli university on the Top 50 Under 50 list.

Ben Sowter, head of research at QS says: “The dynamic nature of this ranking makes it an interesting comparison with our global and regional rankings. By focusing on the performance of these younger institutions alone, the list aims to spot the up-and-coming higher education powerhouses in the global arena.”
