A workshop organized by Prof. Avishai Henik and Dr. Orly Rubinsten on The Cognitive and Neural Basis for the Development of Numeric Understanding will take place April 26‐30, 2015 in Israel. This workshop is one of the activities carried out by the Center for the Neurocognitive Basis of Numerical Cognition (CNBNC), made possible by the Israeli Science Foundation in the framework of their Centers of Excellence, in collaboration with the Edmond J. Safra Brain Research Center for the Study of Learning Disabilities in Haifa.
The themes covered in the conference will include BASIC PROCESSES; DIFFICIENCIES AND REHABILITATION; and WORKING MEMORY AND ARITHMETIC.
