Marcus Family Campus

Two hundred people are expected to take part in this immersive event, including a mix of students from abroad, Israeli students and experts from the hi-tech ecosystem of Israel’s Negev region. Participants work in teams during an intensive 28-hour period to create new technologies for the future, and then present these innovative and unique technologies at the end of the hackathon.

The theme of the hackathon is “Improving Student Life and the Learning Experience.” Technological, social and business projects generated in the hackathon can deal with all stages of student life – from the moment the students come to university up to post-graduation life, with the goal of helping students with their studies, improving their daily life and the quality of life on campus, supporting or helping students in the emerging job market, and more. The proposals submitted may engage with existing projects, as long as the proposed plan is a significant improvement that leverages the services already offered.  .

Participation in hackathons offers hands-on business experience and valuable support from highly qualified professionals. This hackathon will be a unique opportunity for students from all over the world to work together in creating a new technology within a setting, which promotes a project’s potential to grow and succeed commercially in the future.
