Middlebury Program in Israel

 

This semester or year-long program is designed for students with an advanced knowledge of Hebrew. All courses – including content and area studies – are taught in Hebrew by local faculty from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Students enroll in a combination of language and content courses; Modern Hebrew and two electives courses on Israeli and Middle Eastern culture, religion, or politics.  All classes engage students in a variety of language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). Students adhere to the Middlebury College Language Pledge and are housed with Israeli roommates.  For more information on the program, please visit:
