"Brain Gurion" NeuroTech Hackathon

The BrainTech community at Ben-Gurion University is proud to host the first NeuroTech-them​ed hackathon, called "Brain Gurion". The field of applicable neuroscience is quickly growing, and has a strong, and excited follower base. 

The event immediately follows, and is a satellite event of, the International BrainTech Conference which attracts top researchers, companies, and entrepreneurs in the neuroscience field to Israel. During the event, the participants work in groups, for 24 continuous hours, to develop prototypes and proofs of concept of solutions within the fields of neurology, cognitive and behavioral sciences, engineering, software & hardware development and other related fields. At the end of the event, the groups present their work to a panel of judges who rate the projects by their innovation, applicability, and impact. As part of it's on-going effort to develop the field, the Brainstorm community plans to host multiple yearly hackathons in varied themes to firmly place the Ben Gurion University BrainStorm Community as the leading academic student club at the forefront of the Neurotech field. ​
